Bitcoin Pizza is a referral to the infamous story of a man named Laszlo Hanyecz who paid 10,000 Bitcoin ($BTC) for two pizzas. This was the first ever recorded real-world transaction using a cryptocurrency (Bitcoin). At the time of writing, those two pizzas are now worth over $684.74M. There is even a national day for this event, also known as the Bitcoin Pizza Day which happens every year on the 22nd of May.
