avel Durov, the Founder of the  Telegram platform, has been released on €5.5 million  euro bail in France and put under house arrest for the time being.

Bail Conditions and Charges

The conditions are as follows: Durov has to pay €5 million euro  for a bond furthermore Durov is forbidden to  leave France and must report to police twice a week. He  has been charged with 6 accusations which include  facilitating unlawful transactions and money laundering through the Telegram platform. It is important to note that French authorities took the action after Durov apparently ignored the courts’ summons concerning different criminal cases linked to Telegram.
