raig Wright has recently filed yet another lawsuit at the London High court. This time Wright is going against Bitcoin Cores Developpers and is suing the for $1 Billion dollars for damages caused to him. The lawsuit states that the latest protocols have run counter to the design of Bitcoin in the recent past.

Protocol Dispute

Wrights case is focused on the introduction of Taproot and SegWit upgrades to Bitcoin Core, stating that there was modifications that were not agreed on. He says these changes have resulted in market instability and adverse impacts on the vision of protocol of Bitcoin hence financial loss.

BSV vs BTC Argument

Moreover, Wright focuses the lawsuit as well on the value differences in terms of price of Bitcoin Core (BTC) and (BSV). Wright asserts BSV is the real Bitcoin clone and he is looking for remuneration for potential damages and  harm caused by Core developers’ alterations.

Legal Context

This is not the first time that Wrights fights wit court, either for money or by claiming that he was the founder of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. Previous court rulings have time and again dismissed his argguments including his failure to provide evidence of ownership of the genesis block keys to Bitcoins.

Wright's Persistent Bitcoin Battle

Despite all multiple legal losses in previous court  orders to desist from Satoshi related legal proceedings, Wright persists on his litigation against the Bitcoin community and core developers with this latest lawsuit regarding protocol changes.
