A Liquidity Pool is a collection of two cryptocurrencies locked in a smart contract enabling users to buy on a decentralised exchange (DEX). If there is enough liquidity (assets) in the pool, traders can swap between the two assets. Users provide liquidity (liquidity providers) in pools with those assets and generate fees from the trades made in that pool.
