Crypto Market Growth

Based on the use cases of Bitcoin and Ethereum’s ETP success, JPMorgan estimates vast upside for XRP and Solana products. The company’s research pointed out that Solana might attract between $3-6 billion while XRP may make between $4-8 billion inflows.

Current Market Status

Solana ETPs now have an asset under management of $1.6 billion, and  XRP products are at $910 million. These products have already received cumulative net flows of $438m and $69m in 2024; this shows that they are increasingly being accepted by investors.

Regulatory Challenges

Nonetheless, optimistic market trends for approval of the ETFs are a double-edged sword for the United States. Solana ETF recently got denied by the SEC while Ripple Labs is still in its legal struggles. Other digital currencies such as Litecoin and Hedera might get the green light for ETFs first because of their more straightforward legal classification.

Market Potential Analysis

Despite JPMorgan estimating high market potential for XRP and Solana ETPs, some US regulations may hinder the expansion of the two. It remains unclear whether these products will continue to thrive once regulatory decision emerges and future policies modify the legal requirements.
