P’Nut, the most famous squirrel to walk the Earth, has been immortalised by and for the people.

Peanut the Squirrel ($PNUT) is a memecoin that was first derived on the Pump.fun platform on the Solana blockchain. The origins of $PNUT come from the real-life squirrel known as Peanut, who was found and rescued by a couple in 2017 who cared for, loved and shared his life across an Instagram account with over 900K followers.
Sadly, after 7 years with the couple, on 30th October 2024, Peanut was seized by the local authorities in the US and was euthanized after undergoing rabies testing. The death of P'Nut caused havoc worldwide and sparked a new law to prevent similar incidents from occurring in the future.
Although he is no longer with us, his legacy and memory live forever on the Solana network. Shortly after the death of Peanut the Squirrel came the $PNUT token which launched on the infamous Pump.fun platform and instantly became their most successful token.
